How we can help
We will create a customized program to address your organization’s and your members’ unique needs. Our services include but are not limited to:
Develop a program that works best for your members/employees and their dependents with your insurance plan structure
Individualized case management for each client
Determining the level of care that is indicated and providing support until the necessary provider can be reached
Making referrals to the best-matched facility or provider
Conduct return-to-duty assessments, if required
Following clients’ care and adjusting referrals as needed
Providing training of business agents, managers, apprentice coordinators, foremen, stewards, and safety directors regarding behavioral healthcare, work/life concerns, and signs and symptoms of members in need of assistance
Attending member, employee, and apprentice meetings to explain our services, how to connect with us, and answer any questions they may have
Maintaining facility and provider contracts at reduced rates to save the health fund money on treatment
Providing quarterly reports that show cost savings to the fund and utilization data for the program
Strict confidentiality, except in cases of a fully-executed court order
Attend health fairs to meet employees and explain our services
Absenteeism, Poor job performance
If you have a member or employee that has excessive missed days of work, leaves early or performance has decreased and you are concerned, refer them to the EAP for an evaluation. We will see them and assess the situation to determine if they are safe to return to work and offer any needed referrals.

There are many benefits of providing an EAP to employees, including increased productivity, low costs compared with the potential gains, and high ROI.
D.O.T. Services
Specifically encompassed in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 40, the Office of Drug & Alcohol Policy & Compliance (ODAPC) publishes, implements, and provides authoritative interpretations of these regulations. It is the responsibility of the Designated Employer Representative (DER) to facilitate the compliance of these regulations for your organization.
As a qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) I can assist companies and owner/operators in navigating the regulations. I can perform evaluations on employees who have tested positive on Pre-employment tests, Post-accident tests, Reasonable suspicion tests, Random tests, Return to Duty, and Follow-up tests.
The six modes of transportation that are governed by CFR (Part 40) are (FAA) Federal Aviation Administration, (FMCSA) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, (FRA) Federal Railroad Administration, (FTA) Federal Transit Administration, (PHMSA) Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration and (USCG) United States Coast Guard.
